We Exist To Help Others

Llocated in the heart of Logan Central, the ADRA Community Care Centre provides emergency relief and assistance to anyone in need, including people suffering the effects of domestic violence. They also provide a range of assistance such as food, clothing, furniture, training, emergency relief and assistance. They supply up to 200 food parcels per week to those in need.

There is also an ADRA Op Shop on site and a centre that offers training. As a certified ‘Work for the Dole’ provider, the centre provides opportunities for people to get back into employment. and easily accessible across the road from the Woodridge Bus and Train Stations

As a humanitarian organisation, the Adventist Development and Relief Agency (ADRA) are a global community serving people in not just here in Logan but across the state, the country, and around the world. We exist to help others whether it’s development or relief. We do this with an army of volunteers and many other committed people who ensure smooth running of our operation.

ADRA Australia works with people in poverty and distress to create a just and positive change through empowering partnerships and responsible action.

We provide food parcels for those in need of assistance. Whether you are single, a couple, or a couple with a family we will help you. Contact our friendly staff to see how we can help you with food and what you will need in order to get a food parcel from our community centre.


We offer accredited training which is aimed at providing individuals with a vocational pathway
to gaining work. You may be looking to re-train or not able to work in the industry that you were
originally qualified, or long term unemployed. This training is proudly funded and supported by
the Queensland Government through its Skilling Queenslanders for Work initiative.


A dedicated group of volunteers coordinated and led by Springwood Seventh-day Adventist church run a soup kitchen for anyone who is in need of a meal. If you or anyone you know is in need of a meal then the soup kitchen is an extension of food to our local community.


Moving house or wanting to donate good quality furniture? ADRA Logan operates a removal service at community rates. Plus, we welcome good quality furniture donations which we utilise for the community centre operations either selling through the Op Shop or donating onwards as emergency relief for those in need of furniture.
